Review of Cheeky Quilts
As most of you know, I just had a little baby girl and much to my joy and pleasure, Cheeky Quilts sent me a wonderful baby quilt just before my little girl arrived.
I was sent the Baby Blue mini (19 inches by 18 inches) quilt (picture on the left), and I love it! The decoration on the front of the quilt (pictured below), is just adorable and my little baby loves to stare at all of the faces on the pattern. On the back of the quilt, there is a luscious soft blue faux-fur that I love to put under my baby when I'm nursing her. It's great for tummy time, and for a makeshift bed when I need one.
I'm happy to report that the quilt has been spit up on, dropped, spilled on and used through and through. It washes very easily and very well. Every spill and spec of dirt has come right out, and the quilt smells fresh and clean every time I pull it from the dryer. I was worried that the soft back side of the quilt would harden with time, but it didn't! It's still so soft and cozy.
On the Cheeky Quilts website you will see that there are many patterns to choose from. I suggest one of the busier patterns for babies, as there is not a single stain or mark on this that I can see. The quilt looks as good today as it did when it arrived at my house almost three months ago.
I definitely suggest this for your own baby, or as a baby gift. They are reasonably priced, easy to ship and they make a very thoughtful and useful present for a little one. And, if you find that you love the quilt, or older siblings are a little bit jealous of the baby's new quilt, you can order adult and kids sizes as well! Apparently so many people loved these that Cheeky Quilts decided to make larger sizes to accommodate the demand!
