Review of CutiePaTutus
I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda, the mom-preneur who founded CutiePaTutus. And just like is sounds, this mom makes some pretty great tutus! You can see the pictures below.
As I have a boy, Amanda was great enough to send me one of the best superhero capes I have ever seen. It's beautiful red satin on the back, has a great Velcro strap for the neck (which is great in case the cape gets caught, it will easily come loose — no choking hazard here!) and my son is in love with it. Truth be told, he actually asked me if he could sleep with it the other night.
Even as I sit and write this, my son is running around the table where I work exclaming, "Here comes Sooooper Jack! To the rescuuuue!!!!" With his left fist high in the air.
As I said, the cape has beautiful satin on the outside, and CutiePaTutus and put any letter you request. Obviously, Jack has the letter J, and he is so excited about that. He feels really special.
One of the smarter things about these super capes though, is the fact that they are reversible. And the other side is velvet, soft with fun sparkly stars placed sparsely around the cloth. The greatest part about this velvety side is that it holds the cape in place while your super hero runs around. It stays in place and doesn’t slip down into one little strip of fabric in the middle of the back. The cape stays all the way up on the shoulders — which makes it great for catching the wind as they fly to the rescue!
There is no better gift than a specialized superhero cape or a beautiful tutu! And, wouldn't it be nice to give a gift to your children or your friends' children that actually inspires the imagination? We've all heard reports lately that the lack of pretend play is starting to effect how the brain develops, and it's a very important part of interaction, training and development for our kids.
So Amanda has actually given us a gift that is beautiful, fun and inspires the imaginations of the young. Tell her that Better Way Moms sent you!
