Review of Little Passports
The world is yours for your child to explore through the wonderful adventures of Sofia and Sam. If you don't have the time or the money to travel with your children around the world (don't we all wish we were Brangelina?), this is definitely the next best thing. And you will be helping other children around the world as well. I would definitely recommend this for your own kids, or as a great gift for nieces, nephews and friends. I'm really impressed with it.
For only $10.95 a month, you kids will receive a monthly update from Sofia and Sam, best friends traveling around the world. Sofia and Sam travel to each country on their magical scooter and share their experiences with your child. As each country is visited, your child will receive a personalized package via postal mail that includes an adventure letter, fun souvenirs, activities and access to Little Passport’s online Boarding Zone full of games and activities. The souvenirs and stickers are such a fun treat for the kids, such as an amethyst gemstone from Brazil, an origami kit from Japan. In addition the kids receive stamps for their passport and stickers for the outside of their suitcases!

We received our starter kit for my son about two weeks ago, and we have been having so much fun playing with it! It comes in a really cute suitcase, and your child can put his or her name on the case. The starter kit also comes with a picture of Sofia and Sam on their magic scooter, a letter from Sam — addressed to your child by name — which explains the story behind the magical scooter and the first set of stickers to put on the suitcase. The attention to detail is fabulous, and you will find your access code to the online Boarding Zone on the boarding pass that you can attach to the suitcase. So cute.
You will also get a great world map — we hung ours up in Jack's room — that is bright and colorful and has a picture of Sofia and Sam on it so your kids remember all of the fun places they've learned about through their new friends. Your kids will be asked great questions like, "Is Brazil to the north, south, east or west of the USA?" It's a great way to make learning geography fun!
In addition, there are games and puzzles that teach kids about the flags of other countries, how to say hello in different languages and fun ways to learn the capital cities of other countries.

For me, the single most exciting thing about this product is that it helps other children around the world while educating our kids at the same time. Little Passports is committed to helping improve the conditions of children around the world as well as educating our own kids. A portion of the proceeds of your subscription will be donated to select charities we believe are positively impacting the lives of children around the world. This product is best for children aged three years and older. Little Passports suggests ages six to ten, but I have to say, my three-year-old son has absolutely loved it. They're never too young to learn about travel!
