Bull market, down-turn, bankrupcy — how do we begin to process all of this when even the experts disagree? There is so much going on these days it's hard to know what it means to us, and what we need to focus on. We don't have the answers, but we can talk about what we see. Recent financial events have impacted many in major ways. At the same time, some people seem to be going through life like they did during prosperous years.
The Stephenie Meyers and Ellens and Oprahs seem to be doing OK. Why is that? Is it just because they're "famous?" Or is it because they are offering something that people want so much, that no economic down-turn is going to interrupt the need for it?
So the question is, how did they do that? Do they know something we don't? Do they think differently from us? Is it possible to create something that is down-turn proof, therefore making you and your family down-turn proof as well? We're not sure either, but we think that asking the questions is a good place to start.
As we all go through this time together, we wanted to share some of our ideas about how to make it through and maybe even succeed. Check out the toolbox to the right and see what works for you!
