OK, maybe "zen" isn't the perfect word, how about "calm it down a little." In the end, we chose "zen" because it implies something that can be done in a quick moment. And as moms, sometimes a moment is truly all we have.
There are moments of calm, usually they only occur in the shower, but they're there. How do we capitalize on those moments? How can we carry them throughout the day with us? Counting to 10 when we rush out of the house so quickly we knock our coffee cup off the kitchen counter can help. And maybe one day we can actually get to the point where we're focused enough that even when rushing, we're calm enough to avoid breaking the coffee cup in the first place.
